together ∅ emptiness is a cross-over border art project that gathers artists from different countries and nationalities (Georgia, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Iceland, Italy, Denmark, South and North America, France…) and still growing.
together ∅ emptiness project started in 2008 during the 5th international Gyumri bieniale, by exchanging views between artists upon art, artists condition and positions in front of social, ecological, economical and political events.
together ∅ emptiness is questioning and dealing with authorship, online art, as well as the idea of open structures. the main idea is that it is open and redefine in facts by who act for and with it. it is a collective bottom-up network reflection questioning what artists may do together in an open way. we plan to work together on specific projects and exchange possibilities of exhibitions in our respective countries.
the first together ∅ emptiness artwork project started in march 2009 through online folders exchange. the proposal was that each artist starts to work on a 300 dpi, 20x30cm folder, that was to be continued by other artists of the network who received in return other folders started by artists from a foreign country. those artists have never met each others.
those works are now shown on line. This first experience is planed to be shown simultaneously in different countries.

ensemble ∅ vide est un projet artistique transfrontalier qui rassemble des artistes de nationalité différentes (Géorgie, Pays-bas, Suisse, Danemark, Iceland, Italie, Amérique du sud, France, Arménie...)
Le projet ensemble ∅ vide est né pendant la 5ème biennale internationale de Gyumri, lors d’échange entre artistes et curateurs à propos de l’art, de la condition d’artiste et de leur position face aux évènements sociaux, écologiques, économiques et politiques.
ensemble ∅ vide questionne en acte la notion d’auteur, l’art en ligne et les structures ouvertes à fonctionnement horizontal. L’idée centrale est que le projet est ouvert et redéfinis en fait par qui agit pour ou avec. C’est une réflexion collective en réseau et en actes sur la problématique de la collaboration ouverte entre artistes. Nous prévoyons de travailler ensemble sur des projets spécifiques et d’échanger des possibilités d’exposition dans nos pays respectifs.
Le premier projet ensemble ∅ vide a commencé en mars 2009 : un cadavre exquis par le biais d’échange de fichiers en ligne. La proposition étant que chaque artiste commence à travailler sur un fichier vierge de 20 x 30 cm, en 300 dpi, y inscrivant un élément, une trace, une proposition, complétée par d'autres acteurs du réseau. En retour un ou plusieurs fichiers contenant d'autres éléments inscrit par d'autres participants est reçu pour être poursuivit ou complété.
Ces travaux sont exposés en ligne. Il est prévu qu’ils soient exposés simultanément dans différents pays.
